about

A song about self discovery, self acceptance, and just getting through the darkness in the world to something more internal.

lyrics

Lyrics:

Tired and worn from the Midwestern winds.
Seeking refuge at the local inn.
I stopped to gaze at the flowers in bloom.
Making my way down the road to Oku.

I am a traveler, the dirt covers me.
Clouds come and go up above the leaves.
Echoes of voices across the lakes.
I see my reflection, I see my mistakes.

Turbulent seas churn in the bay.
The river of heaven helps light the way.
Of where I came from, I cannot speak.
Just look at the stains from the tears on my sleeve.

Even if flowers bloomed every day.
Seasons still change and take them away.
The western sun still drowns in the sea.
And the narrow road takes its toll on me.
